On April 21st there was another edition of the successful 'Swan Market' in Rotterdam. Swan Market is a lifestyle market with a very diverse offering of creative products. Fashion, jewelry, vintage, accessories, affordable art, etc. are all well represented. In addition to shopping fun, you're treated to amazing food and live music.
The wonderful atmosphere at the Swan Market is created by the visitors, young and old, singles, couples and families, all of them mingling and having fun.
Swan Market is in de winter van 2010 begonnen in leegstaande winkelpanden in de Zaagmolenstraat in Rotterdam. De volgende edities hebben plaatsgevonden op het evenementendeck van Garage C (voormalig Rotabs Style Center). In de zomer van 2012 was het Museumpark het decor van de eerste XXL-editie. De ‘kleine’ edities in Rotterdam Noord trekken tussen de 1.500 en 3.000 bezoekers en de XXL-edities trekken tussen de 5.000 en 7.000 bezoekers.

Met een heerlijk lente zonnetje aan de hemel heb ik veel inspiratie opgedaan en leuke dingen gekocht. Er was een Pilatesles aan de gang op het grasveld, er werden heerlijke hamburgers gebakken en leuke kleding en meubeltjes verkocht. Ik heb zelf super leuke babyschoentjes, een brievenhouder, metalen doosje en zwarte blouse gekocht.
Walking around underneath a lovely spring sun, I gained lots of inspiration and found nice items. There was a Pilates lesson going on in the grass, while delicious hamburgers were being baked, and cute clothes and furnitures were being sold. I bought very cute baby shoes, a letter holder, a small metal box and a black blouse.
