Spannend nieuws: "H&M kondigt vol trots de samenwerking voor dit najaar aan met de Parijse designer Isabel Marant. Met haar ongedwongen ontwerpen heeft Isabel Marant de ‘Parijse chic’-stijl sterk beïnvloed en veel succes geoogst. Door het mixen van urban attitude, boho elegantie en rock-‘n-roll-spirit creëert ze echte Franse allure. Voor H&M zal Isabel Marant een garderobe ontwerpen van musthave-items, geïnspireerd op haar eigen karakteristieke stijl. De collectie is vanaf 14 november 2013 in 250 winkels wereldwijd en online verkrijgbaar en bestaat uit kleding en accessoires voor dames en jongeren. Isabel Marant zal ook – voor het eerst – een herencollectie ontwerpen.
“Ik ben gevleid door deze samenwerking. H&M werkt met de beste designers en het is voor mij dan ook een grote eer om uitgenodigd te worden. Mijn streven is iets wezenlijks te creëren dat vrouwen in hun dagelijkse leven willen dragen, met een zekere zorgeloosheid die volgens mij heel erg Parijs is: je kleedt je stylish zonder er teveel aandacht aan te besteden en ziet er toch sexy uit. De collectie is doordrenkt van dit soort easiness en attitude. Alles is met elkaar te combineren, gewoon door je eigen gevoel te volgen: voor mij draait mode helemaal om persoonlijkheid”, zegt Isabel Marant."
